The Market is a community led project. It was identified, by the people of Glendale, as a way of making the food produced here directly available to residents and tourists alike.
We can also proudly claim to be the remotest Farmer’s Market in the UK. Our croft and sea produce is unique and sent all over the world. However if you make the trip to see us, not only will you be rewarded with produce picked or prepared that day but you will have the opportunity to speak to the producers themselves.
The Glendale Highland Market is located in the grounds of the Glendale Community Hall and runs at the same time as the long established Glendale Craft Fair which operates inside the hall. Pitch fees for both the Market and the Fair help raise money for the hall.
The Glendale Highland Market runs every Tuesday from 11am-2pm. The Glendale Craft Fair runs from 11am-4pm.
